The Stock Valuation Analysis Report allows you to view the detailed information on the differences in comparing data based on the transactions against the data posted on the journal entries. This report shows the quantity left as well as the list of confirmed cost an item has undergone. The stock cost based from each transaction is listed individually and how they are posted in your general ledger through the Journal Cost column.
Take note that regardless of the Costing Method used for every transaction, the system will automatically calculate the average value and will be used by the system.

Set the Filter Criteria for Stock Valuation
Suppose you want to view the stock revaluation difference and compare it with your Journal Entries, you may set the specific criteria by clicking on Print > Print Dialog button from the menu options.
On the Filter Criteria section, click the
button to add a new condition. Select the field(s) you want to show on your report by selecting it on the dropdown list. Add as many conditions as you want provided that they all have data in your system. If one of those conditions is not met, the system won’t be able to give you the result based on the set conditions. Note: Make sure to press [Enter] key after setting the criteria.

Print the Stock Valuation Report
After setting the filter criteria, you can print the file. Select the way you want to print the file (print to file, preview, print, fax or email). The Print to File option allows you to convert the report into different file formats. This includes pdf, excel, image, txt, rtf, csv, html and .mht.

You can also view other details on your items by viewing these reports.
- Stock Valuation Analysis by Item (Detailed)
This report allows you to view the total value of each item derived from the quantity left in stock and the confirmed cost. The totals indicated for each item are accounted across all locations and zones.
- Stock Valuation Analysis by Item (Summary)
This report allows you to view a summary of the total value and the grand totals on all items from each location and zone.
- Stock Valuation Analysis by Location
This report allows you to view the movement of an item based from the transactions. It also views the total value calculated from multiplying the quantity left in stock and the confirmed cost. The grand totals are accounted by adding all the totals on all items from a particular location. For instance, if you have multiple locations, you will see the grand totals for each of those locations.
The Inventory Retrospective Report is a comprehensive report that allows you to see the overall status of your items, its movement from one location to another as well as the transactions and when the transaction has been created. You will also be able to see the difference between the extended sales prices against the extended cost with the sub totals calculated for each location and the totals for each item.
View the Inventory Analysis Report
This report can be easily accessed through the Report Center menu of any modules in Connected Business. On the Report Explorer pane, click on Reports ► System Reports ► Inventory ► Retrospective Analysis.
