Speed up your sales process by making use of unique identifiers for your products. In Connected Business, you can add as many identifiers for a specific item through the Product Identifier section in the item form. You can edit these identifiers (if in case they’re updated) and even delete it in cases where you no longer sell the items to your customers. This is also applicable for a specific item purchased from different manufacturers with different identifiers.
While the Product Identifier option is available only for stock and matrix items, the following are the supported product identifiers in Connected Business.

Here’s a sneak peek on the basic processes using product identifiers in Connected Business.
Adding, Editing and Deleting a Product Identifier. Open the item detail form from the Inventory module > Find Item and select an item. On the Item form, click on Setup tab, and then hover on the Product Identifier section.
Select which type of product identifier you wish to add on the list.

You may edit the code for the specific identifier by hovering on the code column. Unit measures can also be changed by adding more unit measures on the UM column.
To delete a product identifier, right click on a specific identifier and then click on Delete Selected or Delete All options.
