Earlier this month, we attended the internet retailer show in Chicago. It’s always nice to do a show like this as it allows us to meet with many of our current customers, future customers, and partners. It also gives us a chance to see what our competition is up to. It always amazes me how many of our “competitors” advertise their “all in one” solutions when they do not even include ecommerce, POS or Accounting.

The show was a turning point for us. Over the last few years we have invested several millions dollars to improve our product line, adding hundreds of new features (can you say Connected Business 14 and Connected Warehouse?) in just the past 2 years. It was also our first show as “Connected Business”, which gave us the opportunity to demonstrate our fully integrated approach.

By the last day of the show it became clear that for businesses looking for an integrated solution there was only two options – us and NetSuite. This did not really surprise us as we have been seen as a great “NetSuite alternative” for quite some time now. With our new POS, iPad POS, and upcoming Connected Warehouse iPod touch scanning solution; we are prepared to take things to the next level!!
