Shipping carriers charge different shipping rates based on the type of delivery address. You may be wondering what address type your customer has.
With the Address Type feature in Connected Business, you can specify your customers address type whether its residential or commercial. With this, shipping carriers will be able to give more accurate information on shipping rates.
Not only that you can specify the address type for your customer, you can also verify if the address indicated including the address type is valid or not. By using the Address Verification, which is another great feature in Connected Business, you can check if the address given by your customer is correct as the system compares the information directly to the shipping carrier's database.
